Antique Brass and Leather Three Draw Telescope – Victorian Marine or Field Scope (c.1900) vintage sculpture framed by gilt metal mountsA late 19th to early 20th century three draw brass telescope with leather covered main barrel. The telescope extends smoothly from 27 cm closed to approximately 78 cm fully extended. It features three brass draw tubes, a turned brass eyepiece and a sliding eye lens dust protector. The main barrel is bound in original textured leather. Unmarked, as is common with mid grade commercial examples of the period. Construction and form are consistent with
