The obverse of the note carries a portrait of King Jigme Dorji Wangchuk, the ruler of Bhutan from 1952 72. The reverse carries an image of Punakha Dzong, a monastery built in the 1600s which has also served as a fortress in the past. The script on the note is English and Tibetan.
