Grimes was a name I spotted on a sign somewhere and thought it very “Old Curiosity Shop” and The Mysore Mauler relates to Tipu Sultan the ruler of Mysore

so this is likely to be a one and only appearance at P & H

It is of course a superb bit of watercolour

This show had a huge impact on me as it brought together many of the best young portrait painters working at that time and Brendan was one of them
