The left side carries the seal of Sri Lanka a lion holding a sword inside a roundel with Ceylon written in Sinhala underneath. The watermark window is on the right side again, the lion of Ceylon. The reverse of the note features steps leading up to a Buddhist temple in Anuradhapura the capital of ancient Sinhala Kingdom and a key site
