More than 200 symptoms across multiple organ systems have been associated with LC, with the most commonly reported clinical symptoms being post-exertional malaise, fatigue, difficulty concentrating, memory changes, headaches, palpitations, chest pain, dizziness when standing up (lightheadedness), sleep disturbances, difficulty breathing or shortness of breath (dyspnea), cough, problems with taste and smell, bloating, constipation, diarrhea, stomach pain, fever, muscle and joint pains, pins-and-needles feelings, rash, and changes in menstrual cycles (Table 1) (4, 15, 16)
