Keygrove Chartered Surveyors is pleased to announce that Richard Nevines, Director and owner manager at Keygrove has successfully achieved his Advanced Professional Award in Expert Witness Evidence (APAEWE) for commercial property.

Expert witnesses have an important role within the justice system, but they need more than technical competence to be effective. It is essential that they can fulfil their roles and responsibilities to collect, write and if required give evidence at hearings in accordance with the prescribed law and practice for witnesses.

Richard says: “This is an independent quality mark promoted by our governing body the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and it is organised and run by experienced litigation solicitors. It is a Masters equivalent qualification addressing practical witness familiarisation and reporting techniques”.

He continues: “I have been a commercial property valuation specialist for over 25 years. This qualification compliments my ability to advise litigation lawyers, their clients and the courts on property litigation matters”.
