With Winter fast approaching Dyson Insulations Limited, one of the country’s largest independent installers of insulation, heating and renewable energy have completed their national expansion programme by taking a lease of commercial premises at Eagle Close in Chandlers Ford that was being marketed by Keygrove Chartered Surveyors and Lambert Smith Hampton.
Predominantly based in the Midlands and North of England, the company has grown over 27 years from installing loft insulation from one depot in West Yorkshire to become an energy service provider employing over 400 people. The company has now expanded operations southwards and is looking to provide a welcome boost to the local economy by employing 30 local staff by the end of this year increasing to 40 by March 2012.
Ian Morrall, Operations Director for Dyson Insulations said “It has been a long term plan to have a depot to cover the South coastal areas and Chandlers Ford Industrial Estate provides us with an ideal location to operate from. The estate itself has an array of other trades and suppliers which are all essential to our day to day operations.”
Tej Singh of commercial property agents Keygrove Chartered Surveyors said “The premises is an ideal fit for Dyson Insulations in terms of the location’s accessibility to major transport routes both in and out of Southampton and providing a base within which they can focus on a new geographical market. The jobs created from this expansion are also good news for the local population.”
Dyson Insulations Limited is currently working on the Insulate Hampshire scheme as well as installing domestic insulation and Solar PV to many homes throughout the Southampton, Bournemouth and Portsmouth areas.
