The Southampton region should be safer from disruption from snow and ice this coming winter following Nationwide Gritting & Salt Supply Services relocating to a new headquarters depot at Rushington Business Park, Totton that was on the market with Keygrove Chartered Surveyors, the Southampton based commercial property agents.  Nationwide Gritting & Salt Supply Services has taken a 10 year lease of the 1.1 acre site.

NGS provide a gritting, snow ploughing, snow clearing, manual gritting and salt supply service from depots across the country to clients that include Councils, the NHS and Ministry of Defence. They are also independent importers of salt and helped supply many of the companies that ran out last year.

It is important that they are close to the main arterial roads and motorway network as well as being away from residential homes and Rushington Business Park is an excellent location on the edge of Southampton.”
