Viability Studies

We provide valuations to assist in viability negotiations with local planning authorities in order to maximise the value of planning permissions for development.

We work with architects and planning consultants to provide you with Existing Use Value and Market Value in accordance with the RICS Valuation Professional Standards Guidance Notes. Viability in this context should be distinguished from providing RICS “Red Book” valuations as defined by the RICS Valuation – Professional Standards 2015 (Red Book).

Viability appraisals are free to make all reasonable and necessary assumptions and forecasts in formulating a judgment as to the viability of a proposed development or in connection with supporting the formulation of development plan documents in local development frameworks.
