No strangers to the benefits of Southampton Science Park at Chilworth, Vantia Therapeutics have moved into new offices at Phi House.

The company commissioned Richard Nevines, a Director at Keygrove Chartered Surveyors, to find new office premises to suit their research and development needs and to negotiate terms. The property comprises 2,028 square feet (188.40 square metres).

Commenting on the decision to occupy Phi House, Chris Yea, Chief Operating Officer at Vantia Therapeutics says: “The Science Park is ideally suited for our pharmaceutical company developing novel small molecule drugs. Keygrove successfully managed the acquisition process exactly to our requirements”.

Richard Nevines says: “Although there is a lot of choice at present it is important for my client to be within a high quality R&D environment. The property and location are ideal for Vantia Therapeutics as many of the staff have previously worked on the Science Park and live nearby”.

Luc Algar from Coffin Mew handled the ‘legals’ on behalf of Vantia Therapeutics, and commented that: “it’s great to see this sort of movement in the Landlord & Tenant market. The new offices look great, and this will no doubt prove to be a good move for all parties involved!”
